PRAYER CARDS & RIBBONS
If you are willing to pray for a specific person to attend our church this year, please take 2 of the prayer cards. Fill out the cards with the name of the person you will pray for. Include your name and phone number on the card you turn in so the pastor can pray for and with you. If you are willing to welcome people back to our church through prayer, invitation and acceptance please take a yellow ribbon from the offering plate and tie it to a shrub outside the church.
PRAYER
During this lenten season pray daily for:
The return of people who used to be active in the church and wisdom about whether we should undertake a Capitol Expansion Program to increase parking, upgrade heating and improve worship resources.
CROSSTOWN FOOD PANTRY
Help is needed at the Food Pantry that opperates out of Woodland Ave. UMC, the third Monday of each month. The current need is Canned Fruit, Dry Cereal, Hand Soap, and Tuna though any contribuations are welcome but please NO GLASS JARS. There is a box located near the top of the ramp to collect donations. If you would like more information contact the church office.

Easter Son Rise Service
Easter Sunday is March 23, 2008 and this will be our Second Annual Son Rise Service at Gobbler's Knob. Planning is underway for this event that can happen only in Punxsutawney. This year many more churches will be involved making this a true community service. Check back here for more details.
